Default 93 cobra supercharged

Ive got a 1993 cobra with 85,000 miles and i really want to get about 450hp out of it. Im looking at a procharger kit running about 14-20 pounds and im wondering if the stock pistons and rods are strong enough to handle that much boost. i believe that the newer cobras come with forged pistons and rods and im just not sure if the 93's have the same thing.

If you really want to run that much boost then you should do the right thing by putting together a forged shortblock for safety.
Think about this, if you have to worry your shortblock because it my be inadequate then dont do it.
You could go with less boost and better heads and intake to reach your goal.

Ya, i am pretty crazy. Thanks for your inputs guys. I knew that i would be pushing the limits of that engine with that much boost but i didnt knew that i would be pushing it that bad.
