I dont think I want to cut deeper than it already is... Dont want that gas tank lower cause then my aeroshield wont fit properly..... Its hard to get under my car where the tank is cause its covered by body workso Im not sure exactly where its mounted at... is it more to the sides of the wheel wells or is it stabled from the center also?

 

its just held up by the 2 straps that mount in front and in back of the tank...
