I was looking into buying a used Escalade as a winter/utility vehicle. Found one for a pretty decent price that a kid in my neighborhood is selling.

Just out of curiosity....why an Escalade?

 

I have always liked the style of the escalade, its built well, and this particular one is going for a very good price.

My 'stang has been a year round DD and I'm 100% DONE driving that car with its 4.10s in the Chicagoland winter. No more sick days at work when it snows because I can't make it out of my driveway.

 

i think carfax is worthless. a ton of stuff can have happened to a car and its never reported to insurance.

carfax only has record of what the insurance company does.
