This is kind of complicated. I am building a 302 for a swap into a rx7 and I need some help. I have the motor built but I need to mount the alternator. I want to use a serpentine belt and I will only be turning the water pump amd the alternator. I cannot find a grooved water pump pulley so I think I am going to have to mount the alternator on the drivers side and use a mustang water pump that turns ccw.
I would rather use the ccw water pump because it weighs like less than half of the old school cast iron pump.
Now the questions.
1. Does anyone make a grooved water pump pulley for a serpentine belt?
2. Is there a cw rotation water pump for a 302 made of aluminum?
