ok in a nutshell, i got 2.5 inch mufflers, i need tailpipes tho, i want the tailpipes to fit over the muffler holes, so would i have to get 2.5 inch diameter tailpipes, or 3.0 inch 1's? to fit over the mufflers now.. can any1 tell me?

 

You could get 3" tailpipes and a 2.5 to 3 inch step-up adapter.

 

y cant i just get 3 inch tailpipes then, y do i need an adaptor
