Default Whinning noise

Have a 2005 GT that when I turn right it makes a whinning noise. only when I turn right and only with a little speed. When I come to a complete stop and turn the noise is not there. Can anyone help me. I have taken apart and the wheel bearing had some play so I change them but did not help.

That's a good one.
Does it sound like it is coming from the front or rear?
Can you tell if it is coming from the RH side of the car or the LH?
How many miles on the Mustang?

It is coming from the right side. It has 37000 miles.

When it is whining, what happens when you apply the brakes? Louder? Quieter? Change pitch?

The slower I go the queiter it gets. It only happens when I make a rolling turn to the right. If I stop then turn right it does not do it.

Sounds like a power steering belt to me.

I used to have a similar whining noise in the right front.

The divorce fixed that problem.

Sorry. I just couldn't resist. But it's a TRUE story.

Brake noise, maybe?

That tends to be an expensive "fix" though.

OP: have you checked the plastic shields inside the fenders? A friend had some noise on turning one direction, and all it turned out to be was a couple snapped clips on those shields, letting them shift out of place and rub the tire in turns.
