Are you taking to a mechanics shop or auto body shop? Try the auto body shops in your area. They are better equipped for that type of work since they will need to put a hole in your roof.
$800 to get a sunroof? If I was in the market for one I would have jumped on that... but thats just me and I don't know what they go for. But I would like one in my 99!
