I have a '93 Mustang Coupe chassis, no doors, no fenders, nothing just a chassis. I am trying to find where else the VIN could be. I have looked all over the car and found numerous numbers but none are the VIN. Any ideas would help. Also is it hard to apply for a new VIN if I can not locate one.

That is missing. I believe due to an accident. Any other places?

 

I'm assuming this car does not have a title because it is on there also. Another thing if the VIN is removed from the window someone has probably removed it and used it on another Stang. So even if you did find it you probably have trouble at the DMV because it is already issued to another car. Not sure on all the details but you will have to put your car back in road worthy condition before you can get a new VIN and you usually have to go to your state police to get a new VIN.

 

i dont think its legal to have no vin, if you got no vin pretty much your can doesnt really egsist, cuz thats how u can identify it. color, year, model, options, engine. and ford has a list of all its vins.

 

Don't know if this helps, but I found the VIN of my 02 GT on stickers inside a lot of interior pieces.
