Default Engine light on

A friend of mines has a 2011 5.0. He installed ARH Long Tube Headers X-Pipe with catt with a Roush Axle back. Also a MMR non-tunable CAI. This morning his Engine light came on and we're wondering if the non-tunable CAI may be the issue. He just installed the X-pipe/headers this past week and this is the first time the engine light came on. Any suggestions would be appreciated and if any further info in needed, we'll be glad to provide.

Thanks..

The check engine light is because all check engine light codes are caused by components that affect emissions. It's not actually an engine problem, it's a problem with either your O2 sensor, MAF sensor, fuel/air ratio, pyrometer, or exhaust.
