Default Need help with my fox!!!

One day I was driving home and I pressed on the accelerator and all of a sudden the car shut off. Put it in neutral and still woudlnt start. Checked it later and realized the spark plugs weren't getting any spark but I fixed that now. However the car still won't start it like begins to turn on but then it just doesn't it like makes a muttering sound. Anyone know a mechanic that will come to my house to check it out cause I can't move it. Or have any ideas as to what I can do? Need help asap!

Default No spark/no start

1991 Era eec iv Systems used a TFI module on the distributor It uses 2 7/32 screws that usually needed a special tool that had a 7/32 thin walled socket on like a thumb screw.
Mark the distributors exact location in relation to the engine .
loosen the distributor body and turn so you have acess to the plug and bolts.
unplug the module by pressing the tab "INWARDS" while pulling the plug from the module. two staggered bolts (tiny 7/32) hold the module to the distributor body they are recessed (hence the special tool ) remove the screws and unplug the module by pulling downwards . clean the surfaces and with a new module comes a grease (dieelectic ) spread the grease on the surfaces (its for heat transfer so it must be used !) plug the module back in by lining up the prongs of the module with the plugs in the distributor body . The holes for the screws should line back up. replace screws and plug in harness connector ,put distributor back to original marks that you did in the beggining and tighten. That should get your spark back !!
hope this helps !
Good luck !

Are you sure it's getting spark?.. What do you mean by muttering sound?.. Can you possible post a vid or sound clip of you trying to start it, that would help a lot.

The battery and wires all look good. I changed the sparks plugs and wires and cap and rotor. When I try to turn it on it does try to but it just won't turn over. I even tried resetting the inertia switch. I don't know how I would post up a sound. Maybe via email I can. Here's my email miguelv_1102@yahoo.com if anyone can help would really appreciate it

Pull the cap of the dist and turn it over make sure it turns... If not you broke a pin or dist gear off.
