sorry for this dumm question but i got a few weeks ago my 2001 mustang v6 convertable.

On my remote control is a panic button and if i press this button the car starts making a lots of noice.

My question is now, does my car have a alarmsystem? and if it does how do i turm it on?

 

Panic = lots of noise. That's the point. Or just to find your car in a crowded parking lot.
After you lock it you can probably see a small flashing light on the dash. That signals alarm is armed.

 

Press the lock button twice when you get out, it will honk when you press it the second time to tell you the alarm is armed.
