I needed a new distributor for my '83 GLX 5.0 so I let a friend of mine remove the old...He obviously didnt know that you have to mark the plug wires and set the rotor at a certain point before you just start removing stuff, but anyways he just went on and yanked all the plugs and pulled the distributor without setting anything....So I got the new distributor and i dont know where to start, do I have to set it at TDC??? and if so how would i go about doing that??? I just need to know what all is involved in installing the distributor without haveing anything previously marked
