Default Rumbling vibration noise?

Hello, I have a 02 Mustang V6 3.8L Auto and recently i've noticed this loud vibration which sounds like its coming from the back when you're inside. I can only hear it when i accelerate, or i'm going a slow steady speed. Has anyone else experienced this or know what it is?

Thanks.

I'll take a stab. It may be a collapsed Transmission Mount, making metal to metal contact.

Loose exhaust hanger/bad exhaust hanger rubber would be my guess. The higher exhaust pressures of taking off would cause this, along with the vibrations from the drone of just putzing around town. Not saying it can't be the transmission, but if it were I would be more inclined to think you'd notice alot more than just occasional vibrations.

If it were mine, I'd check the exhaust hanging points first.

Can a cool air intake have anything to do with this? Whenever I hear the sound i can also hear my intake sucking in air at the same time. Then they both stop as I ease off the pedal.
