Hello All And Happy Thanksgiving!!!...I'm Working On A 65 Fastback With A 289, Not Sure Of The Engine Code. So, Heres The Problem...

A Few Weeks Ago, I Took It In For An Oil Change, On The Way To The Garage Everything Was Fine, Then I Parked Her And Went Inside. When They Came Out To Pull It In And Do The Change We Found That The Solenoid Was Melted. So I Replaced That And All Was Fine In The World Again...Until A Few Days Later That Is...About 2 Or So Weeks After Replacing The Solenoid We Were Driving Home From Work (Maybe 3 Miles) And About Half Way There Was A Horrible Noise, So I Pulled Over And Had It Towed Home. Come To Find That It Was The Starter, It Literally Exploded!!!...Replaced The Starter And Again All Was Fine. However There Was A Peculiar Sound Everytime I Started The Car, It Was Kind Of Like A Whine, I Figured It Was Just Because The Starter Was New.

Well, Everything Seemed To Be Working Fine, Until A Few Days Ago. Now When You Try To Start It The Solenoid Makes Kind Of A Growling Sound, I Thought Maybe It Wasn't Getting A Good Solid Ground, So I "Improved" It, Didn't Fix It. Then I Replaced The Solenoid Again, Thinking Maybe It Was Defective, Nothin.

So, Now I'm Stuck And Not Sure What Else To Do So I'm Asking For Help, Haha. Hopefully There Is Someone Out There Who Has Had This Issue Before And Can Help Me Out


And Oh By The Way, The Battery Is Good And Fully Charged!!!...
