i have BBK shorty's on my 88 GT convertible now.... i dont like them i want to open my exhaust up more and get a new H pipe....
my car is lowered approxx 1.5" will long tubes scrape? and do any companys make mid length headers?
what would be a Quality yet cheaper way to go?
and do headers all fit regardless of convertible or coupe?

The long tubes should not scrape. Yes, there are mid length headers, I forgot who makes them though. Go to lmperformance.com, they should have them. Wether your car is a convert or hard top does not matter, but auto tranny and 5 or 6 speed does sometimes.
