Default ticking noise

Hey guys
I guys i just bought 03 gt with 73k miles. first thing i did was got an oil change, new oil filter, new air filter, new spark plugs, transmission and gears fluid changed.
so the car drives perfectly fine. but every time i go over 2000 rpm in any gear
there is a ticking noise coming from right side of engine. i can barely hear it at 2000 rpm but higher i go it gets louder. also no noise in neutral
any idea what could be wrong?
thanks

Hard to tell from your description. Does it make a difference if the car is warmed up? Did it make the noise during your test drive, or just start making it? What if you rev it over 2000rpm in neutral?

Hope this helps.

it does make noise in neutral if it's rev'd over 2000rpm
and when the engine is cold it doesn't make noise but once it's warmed up then you can hear it over 2000 rpm
and when i test drove it was fine and after it was fine too
but when i had the service done the noise started coming after that.

The knocking you hear is a common issue with the 4.6's. It seems like they just have noisy valvetrains..
