Default Rear conversion

need some help on a 5 lug rear disc conversion

what will i need to do to keep my stock rear yet convert to 5 lug rear disc?

i know i will need the axles but will everything else such as calipers and brake lines bolt right up???

also after the conversion i will be doing 373 gears.... do you need to change anything else besides the gears itself to do this

youll probably need a more powerful master cylinder to handle the increased pressure. as for the gears, i think all v8 'Stang axles are 28 spline, so, shouldnt have a problem......unless youre just gonna upgrade axles to a 31 spline, then, youll need a 31 spline carrier or locker. good luck. let us know how it turns out

if i was you, don't bother trying to change it over that way. get a turbocoupe or a cobra rear end they have rear disk brakes and go straight in.
