Default repair "insurance"

I have been listening to these advertisements on the radio regarding, for lack of better terminology, repair insurance for older vehicles guarding against unexpected expensive repairs, eg, transmission, etc. Are these "plans" worth the money? I have an '06GT with 80K, and am worrying about something going wrong. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Hi, some are for real. But do your home work first. Alot of the plans only pay a % of the cost. and you must get pre approval for them to pay the cost.
