Default Locking Gas Cap

I was wondering with today's price of gas, does anybody have a locking gas cap on their mustang? Is it even possible to purchase one? If yes, can you save the original cap for reuse?

Has it even gotten to a point in your area that people are siphoning gas out of your tank?

Yes you can buy a locking gas cap for your stang. Save your old one just incase you lose yours you can still have a back up until you get another one. I have one on my Suburban, it has a 44 gal tank. I don't want to take the chance on some one taking any fuel out of my tank. I don't have one on my stang yet but it will have one soon. any parts store will have them. I know that at auto zone they cost about 12 or so.

yeah, theres a bunch of different locking caps out there. as for the siphoning, not yet up here in northern nh. but, then again, everyone knows everyone, and the cops know every single kid, so theres not too many suspects to look at.

I don't like Autozone. I once ordered a part there, they told me it would be in in two days. Well on day on day 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 I either called or went in to see if it had come in. Finally on that 6th day they decide to tell me that the d@mn order was cancelled by someone the same day I ordered it! I then went to Checker's and got it in the next day, no problem.

I ordered one and got one, i'll put the website up in a few. Also, someone on here posted that it was impossible to siphon gas out of newer stangs. I don't remember who......
