Default Can i get some advice please?

Sad to say but i am a former camaro owner, ever since leaving bootcamp and coming here to south carolina i have been wanting a mustang.

I have $700 to burn on mods for my car. i have already got the exhaust kit to put on it and i just ordered the cold air intake(BBK), i would like to know some ideas for the engine that'll give me some more horsepower, any advice or ideas would be greately appreciated. thank you

wut do you mean you have an exhaust kit? a catback? midpipe? complete system?

if I were you, i would definatly invest that money into a new rear dif.
for example, get a 4.10 gear and have it installed, the car will feel quick as lightning

im sure every1 will agree with this, but sumthing else to think of is completing the exhaust......

if you only have a catback, it would b nice to get a midpipe as well

definitely gears, since '98's were one of the heaviest 'Stangs on the road(i think). gears and full exhaust sound like a plan to me. if its a manual tranny, and u dont have one yet, get a short-shifter.

manual shifter is a must

you might see what you can do about a pi head swap.

If you don't plan on a PI swap for a long time, some 4.10's or even 4.30's will make you feel better for a while..

where in sc? i'm in the charleston area. (moncks corner/summerville/goosecreek)

definetly do some 4.10's and a short shifter for a 5 speed or shift kit for auto.

You need a t-lok too, or your gonna take off and roast your right rear tire. Def. do gears though because those years only had 2.73s.

I'm almost certain he has a t-lok, since he's got a 98 gt.
