Default problem

I was replacing my header gasket in my 5.0 and when I went to put back the bolts back the second to last bolt (near fire wall) would go in at an angle. I still haven't been able to put the bolt back in. The bolts are in good shape. Do I have to unbolt the h-pipe so that I can move the header to where I need it? I didn't have this problem when in my 92 so I'm a little on the pissed side.

I wouldn't think you would need to unbolt, but it would make things easier to work with.

Good. I was hoping that it was something simple like that. I was ready to start throwing stuff at the car because I couldn't get this one bolt back in. Then last night I remembered that when I did my 92 i didn't have the h-pipe hooked up. I just haven't had time to do it. I hope that I don't mess something up by not having that one bolt out. This whole time I have been hearing this tic, tic sound and I thought that it was an exhaust leak, it ended up being a loose spark plug. Boy do I feel like dumb ***.
