Smile New Stang need advice

Hello I am new to the forums I just got my 05 GT mustang not even 3 months ago. I am considering installing a GT500 spoiler and window louvers. What do you guys think? For the window louvers I am not sure if i should go with classic MMD look or normal. Other then that I havent done anything to it besides re tint the windows and installed a cold air intake. If you can give me some advice I would appreciate it.

I like the normal louvers better than the Classics. But it's really a matter of what you like best. As for the rest, I always say go before show. Do a tune instead, or gears if you have the budget. Wider rubber in the back plus suspension for grip. The car looks great by the way.

Yeah I was thinking normal also for the louvers. I was told by a co worker who use to own a mustang to get gears first. What gears do you suggest? I think he said 373 cant remember.

I put 4.10s in about two months ago. I'm really happy with the way the car drives now. Great acceleration, passing gear, etc. My mileage went down by about 1 mpg. But it is worth it. Best mod so far, wish I'd done it sooner.

Ok yeah I just read most common is 410 and 373. The higher the ratio the worst gas mileage right? I dont think i want to go lower then 373. How much did the gears run and did you pay to get it installed?

I bought the kit from American Muscle for 279. Install was around 400. I'd definitely ask around about 373s. Not many guys here have them.

I actually got them installed at a GM dealership, lol. It's the only dealership I trust. I think most guys have 410s on here.

I'm a big fan of tire & suspension upgrades. You'll be blown away with how much faster the car can be with these mods!

Sharad is right too. If you make it go, you gotta make it stick too.
