track tires and wheels

RE: track tires and wheels
Tire size depends on your current setup HP, Suspension, etc As for tire brand Mickey thompson are best in my opinion but are pricy and dont last long. I personally use Nitto DR's and they hook very good and have a decent treadlife. Are you looking for slicks or drag radials ???

definitely mickey thompson...et streets (bias ply) hook great, but are not radial use a 26 X 10 /12 and get tubes....run at about 15 psi on a a stock type rim
i just got a set of mickey thompson et street radials, and they seem to hook great (my gears still aren't in, so it's hard to tell, but in the rain they were pretty good.
same thing on those...275/50 is 26 X 10/12 run about 25-30 psi
you neeed to reverse the quad shocks end for end for the tires to clear...or just remove them completely.
