what exactly is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin). if there is a TSB about a problem, will the dealer fix it for free like a recall? i dont really understand the signifigance of them, but then again, i dont know a god damn thing about cars lol[:@]

if a part has been reported to fail but not enough in every car to warrant a recall, then yeah, just take it on on that TSB and it'll be fixed at their expense like a recall.

Only if it's still under warranty! If it's got 100k on it, you pay! (In most cases)

i suppose that's true for a TSB. not a recall though. i had to take my old 98 v6 in for the E-Brake or something like that. or rather, my mom did when it was hers. it was well out of warranty but was fixed free.

Wish they'd put out a recall for my damn seatbelt! It keeps twisting and it won't retract unless I guide it!

Have you pulled the bolt and twisted the belt? That was the first thing I did when I got mine. Just pull the bolt on the floor, pull the belt out of the sheath, twist it, put it back in the sheath, and bolt it back down. I also removed the worthless loops from the seats... Mine already has the new little plastic bushing on the C-pillar mount, but maybe you need to talk to Ford about getting those...
