Default Diff Front Clip

Hey,

I'm currently customizing a 1983 mustang convertible. I'm doing everything different to it, including hood's etc. All the mods. But in restoring it, i found one thing I hate about it. I cannot stand the front clip(where the headlights and grill is located). Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions. Or if you can even match different years on that certain clip. Thanks everyone

The stores around here(metro detroit)aren't much help and whatnot. They don't know much about those kind of cars. And when I looked it up before all it showed me that I could get was my years front clip. Thanks for the advice though mustang30240. I like those front ends alot more than mine. Also does anyone know if i could fit an 87-93 eurolight's onto my 83? They look to be the same size.......thanks

If I change my front clip to an 87-93, do i have to change my hood to one as well? Is there any difference in length of the hood>?

I would try changing it to a newer 87 to 93 style. But if not use those blackout headlight covers. That will kinda hide those ugly *** headlights that are back. It will make the front look more flat.

Yeah thats the main reason, i hate how those head lights look. Quite honestly they make it look like an old persons car. Doesn't look like a real mustang to me. Any suggestion of wear to get them blkstang9879? That sorta clip where it isn't going to cost a heck of alot. And do i have to change my mounts and whatnot?

Yea! If you look in the Summit Racing mag. I'm Pritty sure they got them. If not any speed shop or auto parts store can order them. I think the company that makes them is called Vent Sheild.
