Default FINALLY

Hey, I am new to the forum, I have had this 1965.5 mustang in the back of my shop for a couple years now and I am ready to get to work making it driveable... it has a late model 5.0 motor 1980ish it is built to 300 HP-im guessing- what I would like to do is put in a five speed and disc brakes -still has the drums on all 4 corners-, I am looking for the least expensive way to do this, not looking to go to the track or shows just a weekend driver... thanks in advance for your help!!

You might want to post this question in the classic mustang tech area, you'll get alot more responses. But as for the swap to a T5, I got lucky and found a complete swap package on Craigslist for $350, everything I needed to swap over and it was the best mod I've done to my car. I don't know how the pedal assembly differs from fox stuff, but there has to be a kit for it. Google or Youtube will help with that.
