Which one weighs more and by how much more.....between fox body mustangs and the 99-04 body styles (5th generation I think???) Thanks!

 

New Edge deffinatley weigh more than Fox. Not sure by how much. Try looking it up on google. But the Fox is the lightest of the newer Mustangs - espeically the LX coupe.

 

Well the fox LX for sure but I was talking about GT's but its cool you didnt know. Ya I'll give google a shot. Thanks.

 

A GT Fox will still be lighter than the 99-04... I'm like 99% sure here.

 

fox coup about 2800 fox hatch 2900 fully loaded gt about 3000 99-04 coup gt about 3500

i am not exactly sure on all these numbers but they will be some what close.

 

i would say add 200 lbs respectively for all those cars , but yeah pretty close guess tim

i have weighed 3 of 6 mustangs i had.

my 5-speed '89 notch w driver and 1/2 tank = 3200
lx 'vert aod = 3600 w/ driver and 1/2 tank
gt aod = 3350 w/ driver and 1/4 tank

and i weigh about 140

none of these cars were lightened at all..and all the junk still in the trunk
