Whenever I get in a car that has stock racing type seats they are always way too wide. I am a size 29 waste. I'm real skinny. I need to be held in my seat too. American muscle has seats that fit (up to 36"). That's huge! I need one that says up to 30"! The stock seats have a little side support but its too wide and defeats the purpose. Anybody experience this and find a solution?

 

Kirkey race seats if your serious about racing. they have them from 18 inchs across.

 

I'm 5'9" 150lbs, size 30 pants. I have 15" Kirkeys in my Fox and they're comfortable.

 

I'm about 5'7" 140ish.
For a good sport seat in a street car (not a true race seat), Cobreau makes some good ones that I have been very happy with. The A4 was narrower than the CR1 with lots of support if you want a seat that reclines. If you are ok with a fixed back, the Forza held me well. I'd do the A4 again in my next project.
