What would cause my shifter to lock up after pushing it hard in a 1/4 mile?
I have a '67 Mustang with a T5 5 speed.
Seems like when I push the car hard when I stop, I cant move the shifter in any gear. I let it sit for a minute push the clutch several times and it shifts normal... wtf???

 

Try taking a little more slack out of the clutch cable, unless your using a hydraulic clutch in which case you may have a bit of air in the line.
