Default 3.73 , 4.10, 3.90

Which do you prefer?

i am in between the 3.73 and 4.10, i always feel like my engine is going to blow when on the parkway with gears being that i drive at about 75 usually.
i had a 300HP thunderbird w/supercharger and 4.10's in an aod tranny. was scary hearing the motor scream at 3500 for an hour of drving.

what kind of revs should i expect with either 3.73 or 4.10 at about 75 in 5th even if anyones got 3.90's please elaborate

no, i totally understand that . but from what i hear the 5th gear will still be doing like 3000 at 70.
but yeah it will be alot better than my auto tranny. i had a z28 6 speed last year, damn what i would do for that 6th gear again!? i remeber the good days when i would be reving at about 2000 at 75 ... jeez

Use the rpm calculator I linked you too, it's pretty acurite as long as you know your tire size and what trans you have.

with 3.73 you'll be at 2000rpm at 65, 2200rpm with 4.10

oops. assuming you have an 01-04 GT
