Default getting the car dyno-ed blues

As there are only two places in the state that have dyno's, I waited 4 weeks for my appointment. I dropped the car off the night before so they could start in the am. When I call back at 4 to see about picking up the car, I am told they haven't even looked at the car. So not wanting to be pushy, I didn't call until Friday three days later, as I had heard nothing. Still not ready because the car needed a lot of work before they could map the F.A.S.T. This car was running great before being brought in and needed a tune. I had enough of this and went to pick up the car. They tried getting me to leave it and said they would try and fit it in between all the cars that were scheduled. Excuse me! If I was scheduled first why am I on back burner? Although there were a lot of things to be fixed, nothing was ever mentioned as to what that was. If it was within reason and they communicated throughout this process, I might have let them. They just never looked at it. I believe they were trying to make a lot of moolah off me. The car is running great and will try the other tuner. Sorry for the rant but needed to vent. My question would be" How long would you have left a car there for a dyno?" Was I unreasonable?

That sounds extremely shady. Find a new place and never look back.

Appears they disconnected some of my vacuum lines and took the hood off and didn't adjust it while reinstalling it. The methanol line was broken off when they removed the induction tube from the blower. No more business from me.

Good call on pulling the plug. I've only gotten baseline pulls and all was good, but our local dyno said if I ever want tuning, I'd be more than welcome to be there, start to finish. It would cost me a days vacation but I'd do it. Good luck on the next dyno.
