Hey I am about to get a short throw shifter. And i want to know if this is something i can put on or if I need to pay someone to do it.

 

you can do it yourself. it'll probably take an hour at most.

 

Yeah if you have decent mechanical skills you will have no problem installing it yourself.

 

you don't even need decent mechanical skills to install the short throw. it's all laid out for you. i don't know much about shat, but i was able to do with with acer. it's really not hard at all. just tedious.

 

very ez.....1/2 hour job.

after removing the bezel (pops out)...there are 4 cover bolts & 4 base bolts.

2 of the cover bolts i don't even put back in...you'll see which 2 i'm talking about, they are the longest part of the whole process

 

cant take to long...instructions are usually good on most products

 

it is super easy you can do no problem

 

hardest part is getting your console out ....

 

those bolts aren't the easiest thing in the world if you have fat hands
