Default Broken Hood Bolt

Help........Today I was installing struts on the Hood of my 03 Mach 1 to replace the Rod, and everything was going great until I got to the drivers side I took off the front bolt the one that connects to the hinge and then when I went to loosen the rear bolt it snapped ! there is about a 1/4 of an inch left oh the hood bolt. How can I take off the remaining piece that's left on the hood, and where can I buy another bolt and how do you install it?

Thanks in advance.......Big Al.

1/4" of bolt sticking out to grab on to ? Or it's below the surface ?

You could try drilling and then use the appropriate size easy out. Those shouldn't be hardened bolts so easy to drill.

There is 1/4" or more of the bolt sticking out to grab on to, can I grab it with something and try turning it, and which way to turn it?

I'm not sure if you'e saying that it snapped because it had all of the load on it,or it snapped when you applied torque to it.
In any case,I think you need to use some penetrating oil in case it's frozen.I'd use a vise grip and turn it left.
