Default PLEASE HELP!

I have a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback.
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'll try anyways.
Our father died in Nov. & he was in the middle of restoring it. We have all the parts, the original engine, new interior, etc. We have EVERYTHING. It just needs to be repainted & put back together/assembled.

How much can us kids sell it for as is? It's really important to us that we sell it for a good price because we know how much work, time & money he had already put into it. We just can't afford to keep it/have no place to keep it. Any advice/help would be so helpful!! Thank you!

Before he stripped it & sandblasted it to be repainted.

Thank you so much for all your help!!!

If you want top dollar for it then you'll need to finish the restoration. Otherwise I don't think you'll get much for it as it sits now.

There's a Classics subforum here - that would be a more appropriate place to start a thread. Well, there's the classifieds section as well.

Have somebody you trust who knows what he is looking at give it a fair evaluation and tell you exactly what you have there. ie, is it a real Mach I or a fastback with some Mach I options?

I respectfully disagree with the assertion that you need to finish the restoration to get the most out of it. There is an old saying in the car hobby. "The best way to have a $20,000 car is to put $40,000 into the car".

So, while you might not and probably won't get everything back out of it that your father put into it if you sell it as it sits, you don't want to go in the hole trying to squeeze every nickle out of it.

Condolences on the loss of your father. That's a kick in the fuzzy gumdrops.

Thank you, great advice! And yes, a kick in the fuzzy gumdrops is right. Haha, he'd like that saying. Thank you for your advice.
