Will headers change both performance and sound....or just one of those? Also...what is the benifit of having long headers vs short headers? Thanks.

 

Yeah they change the perfomance and sound by flowing better. Less sharp bends and they are smoothe surfaces on the inside not ruff **** like on the stock manifolds. Long tubes offer more power, better low end. Shortys flow better in high rpms but dont give as much hp.

 

yes, catr back and headers will make a huge diff in sound...not so much increase in power if your all stock , but a nice improvement.

long tubes and off road h + 2 1/2 catback sounds the best and makes most power.

 

Generally thats the first mod people do, either that or gears. Headers to an o/r h pipe or x pipe, then your mufflers of choice will really make the car sound amazing. Won't give you too much power but the sound is sweet.

 

long tubes gives more tq.and hp higher up ...i dont like shorties .

 

I know that long tubes provide you better hp/tq when it comes to shorties you have your unequal and equal lenght shorty headers and they are not too expensive.
