I have a 2016 v6 mustang stock tires. How often do you guys do your rotation and do you do front to back or side to side?

 

Honestly, it's been awhile since I've done that too. But if you Google it, you'll see diagrams of the correct rotation for rear wheel drive cars.

The mileage interval should be in your owners manual.

 

Cool thanks. This is the first car that I plan on doing most maintenance my self suck as oil and tire rotation the easy stuff I want done right I'm doing myself. I don't trust companies. I've heard stories of I never put new filter on where I work or so on from friends.

i rotate mine(not my mustang, staggared set of tires) every 5k miles, so every oil change. easy to remember. i rotate front to back. honestly the pattern of rotation doesnt matter as long as they get rotated

 

Well I only have 3k miles on it and did first oil change motorcraft out and RP oil and filter in and on at 2500 miles, just before my dyno tune. I will rotate my tires at 5000 or possibly 7000.

 

I rotate mine once a year.

 

Read your manual. It will tell you how to rotate your tires.

 

Mustang is staggered, but my other cars every 5,000 front to back.
