I have a 1989 automatic with a t handle shift. It has a side push/lock button on the side of the shift handle. I would like to replace this t handle with a ball ****. Are there specific adapters to purchase which will allow me to add a ball **** but will also allow the shifter to move with or without the side push button? I have seen a few adapters which push down from the top to release from park but not sure about any the work with the side. Thanks
