Mini Spare Tire
I looked for this information on the forum prior to posting and could not find it.
My 2012 GT 5L Convertible purchased pre owned did not come with a spare tire. It has the jack and lug nut lock and crowbar but no tire. The cover (trunk floor)over the spare wheel is sagging because nothing is holding it up.
What size mini spare wheel should I be looking for. And is there something else that is missing, like a tire cover.

The mini is the "wrong" size to start with, so it really doesn't make a lot of difference.
As long as the mount points are the same, you should be fine for the brief use.
I believe that the measurement used is center to center on the lug nuts.

Most people I know upon buying a car replace the space saver with a full size rim and tire from a junk yard or used tire dealer and chuck the space saver tire in the trash. That usually just causes minor bulge in the trunk floor and is far outweighed by have a real tire available you can actually depend on in an emergency.
