Default 2008 Seat Lumbar Support

Switch makes noise when I press either direction, but bag doesn't inflate/deflate. Should I replace the Seat Lumbar Support Assy. PN AR3Z-6365500-B, cheapest I found is $307? Sure the labor will be a few hundred more for the Seat to be taken apart.

Between the parts cost of $307, plus paying somewhere to do it (best bet is probably call a couple of local upholstery shops, see what they would charge), you could probably find a used seat on Ebay in 8 or 9/10 condition for less $$.

Yep, got the parts from a dealer on-line 30%+ off, will take the Seat to a upholstery shop to take apart and replace the Lumbar assy and put the Seat cover back together..

It's not an inflator/bag setup.

Just a motor, cable, and flexible plastic support.

This is how I fixed mine with just a spare hose clamp.

Excellent info about how the assy works and the spring, much appreciated!
