Default shoulod i and how do i

im looking at a ford mustang 1978 coupe with only 7,000 miles(i checked the vin number) and i found out that its a coupe. he wants 1,700. is that a good deal? i thought it was realy good but i wasnt shure. also,i dont care mutch for the coupe of that year but i LOVE the hatchback from 78. how can i tern it in to a hatchback?

that sounds cheap if it runs properly and is rust free.

i don't think you will be able to convert from coupe to hatchback without major body work.

You will probably be better off just finding a hatchback and buying it. Converting will probably cost you much more than the purchace price of the car.

7000 miles! For 1700! I think its kind of a lame year for mustangs but I would take it for that price. It should be in mint cond. with those miles unless its been sitting outside for 27 years. Kinda sounds too good to be true. Good luck though.

yep. in 78 they made 68,408 hatchback standards and 7968 hatchback mach 1's.

wow you learn something new every day i didn't even know they made a mach 1 mustang II. i just did a google on them intresting.

i am still not a fan of mustang II but if you like them go for it.
