Default guage question

i just recently put a 5.0 in my '94 mustang that used to be a v6 and it still has the v6 guages...now the guy that did the swap disabled the tach because it was always gonna read like 7k RPMs...is there anyway i can get the tach to work properly with the 5.0 motor...the reason is because i want to keep the v6 look inside and out of the car....plus i would like to keep the accurate milage...thanks

auto gauge makes a replacement gauge set you might check in to.

you could just get a small autometer tach like for racing, or just take the tach out of a GT.

yeah i would just toss a tach in the car but he want's a stock appearence thats why i sugested the gt gauge cluster much easier to install than tearing out the tack.
