Default Check charging system warning

Hello all,
I have an 07 mustang (4.0 liter) and the battery light came on a few days ago with a "check charging system" warning. Have had the battery and alternator checked and were told both were good. Alt is about 6 months old and battery is a few years. Since the warning light came on, my car dies when I put it into park. Any ideas on what the issue(s) could be? Thank you in advanced for any help.

Don't know much about the 6 cyl, but if you know for sure the battery and alt are good, what I would do is first check the fuses for the alt and any that go with the charging system, make sure all connections to the alt and battery cables are tight and clean, free of corrosion, rust, etc... even check the ground/ground strap on the block from the battery. Hopefully this helps a little, otherwise I would start testing wires etc with a DMM.
