First post here. Im in a pinch i have an 87 fox with amazing interior but the body is so rusted out i flopped in the seat and went through the floor. i bought an 85 mustang that is very clean just no motor, trans ,and wiring harness. i was wondering if the dashes are interchangeable. i know fenders and hatches are but i cannot find a post about the interior and wiring . im not afraid of a bit of fab work on mounting brackets. thank you for your time.

 

I'm sure that if you can fit a SN95 dash and center console in (which can be done) then sticking the '87 stuff in your '85 should be a breeze. Go do some looking around over in the Fox ('79-'93) section here, I'd be surprised if this hasn't been covered in reasonable detail.
