Default radiator for a/c upgrade

Hello

I have a 1965 mustang (289, 4 speed) in which I will soon be replacing the radiator; it currently has the original mustang radiator in it but before I replace it with a new identical one------ this concern:

Down the road, I hope to install an air conditioner in the car and was wondering if the standard type radiator will be adequate to cool the motor with an a/c or should i replace it with something different -- thoughts and suggestions appreciated

If you go with an OEM size radiator, then later experience inadequate cooling with the A/C (or even without it), your options at that point will
cost more than to upgrade the radiator now. In the future, radiators will become higher-priced, a no-brainer. So, given more cooling ability later, a bigger fan, faster fan, fan shroud (my '65 "K" had none), etc. may be necessary. That effort will be hit and miss, but cost bucks.

IMO, I would opt for a higher capacity radiator now. Just sayin'. imp
