My first mustang build need help.
this is my first post here. so hopefully i put this in the rite section. if not sorry in advanced
last year i bought my first gt mustang and i bought it mainly for weekend driving and heavy track use. i already have quite a few mods on the car already but I'm at a point now where i need advice. i would like to get my car at least into the 10s in the 1/4 mile. i also know doing a supercharger or turbo could make that possible. but i don't want to just slap those kinds of power adders on and not do stuff like pistons rods cams crank ect. i was looking at maybe doing a NA build but i know its a lot harder to achieve my times and possibly way more cost to the build. I'm also aware that i don't need to to do heavy mods to install a supercharger kit as long as i keep around 600whp but whats the point of doing it and not going all the way. just looking for advice on what to get or things to do to further progress the build. like i said this is my first time really trying to do a build.
Current 1/4 time was 1/4 was 12.6 at 116 with the stock street tires and wheels. launching at 1k with a 2.0 60 ft anything more and i would spin really bad. i have not had a chance to try my new setup and clutch out on the track yet.
my current build so far is
fays2 watts link
full ford performance suspension / including front sway bar
steeda rear sway bar
BBK ceramic 1-7/8 long tube headers
BBK Off Road X pipe
X-Clutch Twin Disc clutch
Borla Atak exhaust
Blow fish transmission bracket
LCA relocation brackets
rear sway bar relocation brackets
373 gears
Barton short throw
steel braided clutch lines
RTR clutch spring
Bama race tune for now.
drag wheel set up 275/60/r15 and 17 runners in the front.
JLT oil catch can
JLT CAI
Aluminum One piece drive shaft
maybe a few other little things i missed. some other things where not done yet because i'm still trying to decided what kind of forced induction i want.
