Hello All..
New member I was out this weekend on I-95 north coming home from NJ and my air conditioning just stopped...
not blowing and just sounded like it shut off..
I shut it off and came home no issues
next day I turned it on and it worked I have'nt run it long so not sure if that is going to happen again..
anyone else have this happen to them. ?

 

My son's car is doing exactly the same thing. AC compressor system is working and charged, fan is running.
For awhile he could shut car down, then restart and it would start working again, but no longer. It's blowing a mix of hot/cold air through the air vents.
I think the mixer valves in the HVAC are failing/failed and so researching here.
