Which oil and oil filter is best?
Have had my 02 GT for about 4 months and put about 1500 miles on it so far but there is about 27-28k total. I'm going to change my oil this weekend so what is the best filter and oil type to use with winter coming up.

Mobile1 and fram...I don't care what others said about fram. I've been using Fram since I had my first car...26 years. With synthetics, do an oil anf filter change 5000-7500 miles. Don't waste your money on the expensive filters.

There's a bunch of writeups about oil and filters... I went with a Mobil1 filter, and royal purple synthetic 5W-20 in my 04 GT.

No, Ford reccomends a Motorcraft oil filter and Motorcraft 5W-20 oil. Motorcraft everything for that matter, wonder why
There's a bunch of writeups about oil and filters... I went with a Mobil1 filter, and royal purple synthetic 5W-20 in my 04 GT.
