Default New Ecoboost, wait for the 2024, or keep what I have?

With the crazy prices in the used car market, I've been thinking about selling my 2013 and 2007 (both v6's), and buying a new Ecoboost on my A plan discount. This past spring I sold my 96 Bronco, and 1970 F100, and bought a new Ranger on the A plan, and have been really happy with the trade. The choice with the Mustang doesn't seem quite so clear-cut though.

While I'm all-in on the Ecoboost power, handling, MPG's, and tunability going forward, I just really do not like the sound, at least not in any Youtube clips I've seen. And then we have the new S650 2024 coming out next year with rumors of hybrid drivetrains, which is appealing to me.

As far as my current cars that I'm thinking about selling to finance a new Mustang, both have 90k miles, look great, sound great, run great, great handling, great mpgs, and are cheap/easy to service. Only downside is solid rear axle, and having to license/insure two cars instead of one.

What would you do? and please don't say "buy a used Coyote". Not interested.

This is a tough one. The market for used cars favors selling your current Mustangs sooner rather than later. I doubt their value will stay as high as it is now, depreciation aside, as the chip shortage becomes less of a factor, while waiting for the hybrid Mustang.

I'd drive the new Ecoboost and see if I could live with the 4's sound.
