Can someone 6' 1" 185 lbs. find comfort in a late model mustang.I wouldlike room for my legs and a seat back thatdoesn'thaveto be reclined. I've noticed that mostmustang drivers seem to have the seat back ina slight recline position. I realize aftermarket seats will likely be necessary. But that's the beauty of a mustang..... lots of aftermarket parts and a car that will always be worth fixing.Presumably there are lots ofaftermarketoptions for comfortable seats and perhaps mounting systems that move the seatback a little further.

My current daily driver is a 1986 honda accord with 204,000 miles on it. Still runs great but so much rust it's painful keeping the car in good operating condition. A couple months ago it was a water pump and timingbelt. Tomorrow it's to the shop for a cv boot. Then this weekend I'll be installing new brakes. I hate putting money into a vehicle that is rusting away. It would be more fun putting money into a mustang, or a 1997 or older camaro ( the newer ones have butt ugly headlights).

im not sure how "late model" you're looking at, but fox (79-93)mustangs may look small, but you can easily fit in them

I really like the looks of the mustang from those years best but I don't see many for sale. I'd probably have to look real hard and pay top dollar. What's your opinion....do you see many for sale that haven't been beat up too bad?

when you do, expect to pay up to 7500+ for a really nice one because they're not too easy to come by in great shape and low mileage.

I'm 5' 11" tall, and we had a '00 "boss" mustang (read: stock V6, autotragic)

Most of my height is in my legs....I can sit next to someone 5' 8" and look the same, lol.

Anywho, I found there to be plenty of room in it.

You'll have alot of room. Just hope you'll never have to get in the back seat. You be out of luck. Can't even get it on back there.

OH COME ON!!! I'm 6'3" and 260Pounds and I LOVE the comfort of my 2000 GT. I have plenty of room for my legs too. 6'1' 185 is average size. Did they make the mustang for midgets?

i fear the back seat of my mustang, after having to ride in the back of a 98 vert gt my mother use to have. damn the back seats to hell. the front is awfully roomy though, even more roomy then my caprice which is 500000000 times bigger.
