Default remote starter

I'm looking into getting a remote starter. Any recommendations?

You talking about one on a key fob? or one you physically hook to the starter to work on the car??

I've got the viper system on my daily driver. Its the best money I have ever spent. It has about a 500 ft range. No more cold car in the morning, or freezing your @** off to start it.

http://ultrastarters.com/
great products and great tech support. they have safety starter systems that are designed for manual transmissions to ensure your car doesnt jump off a cliff when you crank it. maybe others have this system now, but when i got mine 2 years ago this was the only company providing that safety.

If you have a local Kmart they have one on sale tommorrow (early) for like 39 bucks. The one I have was $200 installed a couple years ago.

I would suggest anything by DEI www.directed.com

I've had an Avistart and Viper. They work great, and have all kinds of cool add on modules...

I opted to have mine installed after I saw the 15 or so wires that had to be spliced. It only took two guys about an hour to do it and added $75 to the total cost. If you are a good at electrics and dont mind removing some of your interior do it yourself.
